Multiplicator Training in Transylvania for participation in EU R&D projects
Duration: 2007-2008 The project was funded by the Apáczai Foundation. Coordinator: Hungarian Science and Technology Foundation The project aimed at developing the R&D capacity of the Transylvanian Region and to train R&D personel to be able to apply for European RDI funding. The organization of the training sessions was supported by the Transylvanian Museum Association (EME) in four University towns: Cluj (October 25-26, 2007, Tirgu-Mures: Novemberv 6-7, 2007, Timisoara: December 5-6, 2007, and Oradea: May 26-27, 2008.) The attendees participating in the multiplicator training came from higher education, research institutions, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and non-profit organisations. Theoretical and practical training were given and information and educational material in Hungarian were provided. ÉLET (Food Quality and safety EU FP6 Advisory Office) The main goal of the ÉLET project is to support the work of the Hungarian Food Quality and Safety NCP providing background services to facilitate the information flow between the NCP and the potential FP6 applicants hereby between the European Commission and the Hungarian applicants.
Budapest (Budapest and Central Hungary Regional 6th FP Contact Office) Duration: 2005-2007 Coordinator: Hungarian Science and Technology Foundation The goal of its activities is (1) to facilitate the Hungarian participation in the EU 6th Research, Technology Development and Demonstration FP; (2) to provide FP information to the institutions operating in Budapest and the Central Hungarian Region; (3) to participate in launching tenders; and (4) to provide expertise and guidance in preparation of tender and in management of successful tenders.
Budapest (Budapest and Central Hungary Regional Contact Office) The goal of the Budapest and Central Hungary Regional Contact Office is (1) to
facilitate the Hungarian participation in the EU 5th (and latter) Research, Technology Development and Demonstration FP at no cost in a non-profit service; (2) to provide FP information to the institutions operating in Budapest and the Central Hungarian Region as well as to institutions of higher education, self-governments and medium and small sized entrepreneurs; (3) to participate in launching tenders; and (4) to provide expertise and guidance in preparation of tender and in management of successful tenders. The Office works as a consortium. The co-ordinator of the consortium is the Foundation of Science and Technology (TÉT). Besides TÉT Foundation, INNOSTART and BME-OMIKK are also members of the governing body of the office. Thirty-five institutions belong to the Consortium.
